Welcome!
The 2008
Eventing Committee welcomes you to year two of the official USPC
Eventing Discipline Webpage. This year our goal as a committee is to
make more useful information available on this page and to change it
more frequently. We also want to provide ideas and support for educating
young Eventers in our discipline, so are continuing to add to the
"Lesson" section. If you have information about USPC sponsored
clinics and other Eventing activities please send them in and we will
add them to the USPC
Organization Wide Calendar.
We are again looking forward to seeing many of you in Lexington,
Virginia this summer from July 24-27 for Championships. We are
offering BN through P level, so anticipate that we will have lots of
entries! We have already planned on having two dressage rings for the
whole day and two rings for the jumping test so we can handle increased
numbers at the Virginia site.
For those of you who may be having one of your instructors come as a
coach, you may want to let them know that USPC/USEA will be offering an
Instructors' Certification Program Clinic Tuesday, Wednesday and
Thursday before championships. The ICP is a professional education and
certification program for instructors of event riding, competing and
horse care. We will know if there are additional openings for
participants sometime around the middle of April, but there will be
unlimited auditing spots available. Information about this program is
listed in our "Opportunities" section of this webpage.
We would like to encourage you to visit this page often and participate
by sharing your comments or contributing information about clinics,
activities or pictures! If you have questions or comments, please
feel free to contact:
