We look forward to welcoming many members to the USPC Annual Meeting in New Orleans, January 27 - 29, 2012. Hope to see you there. There will be many interesting presentations to enjoy and many fellow members to meet! Don't miss it!

In July, USPC welcomed 277 competitors/56 teams to Eventing Championships and Festival 2011! All the competitors were thrilled to ride their dressage test in the Rolex Arena, and test the footing on the Rolex XC course. Congratulations to all who made the journey to Kentucky!
Thank you to all the volunteers who weathered the heat and put in many hours of hard work. From the National Office Staff, the Organizing Committee, Horse Management staff to the volunteer parents – we could not have done this without you!

Competitors are always so excited to have competed in Championships with their friends. They feel a deep sense of accomplishment by being there. So much about Championships is the preparation and the journey. What is really striking about the young people who made the journey to Championships are the skills they developed along the way: skills that include organization, tenacity, people skills through team play, sportsmanship along with the horsemanship. For some, it is the ability to deal with adversity, to make a decision, or advocate for themselves. Lifelong friendships have been forged and childhood memories created. In every sense it was character building. But in a word it was FUN!

The Grand Prix Award: Each member of the winning Preliminary Team (including the stable manager), based on the USPC overall score, will receive a $1,000 Education / Training prize.  The winning USPC members shall submit a summary to the USPC National Office detailing how they plan to spend their funds. It is expected that winners will put the funds to use on educational activities such as clinics, competition fees, or travel etc.

If you have information about USPC sponsored clinics and other Eventing activities please send them in and we will add them to the USPC Organization Wide Calendar. We would like to encourage you to visit this page often and participate by sharing your comments or contributing information about clinics, activities or pictures!

Go Eventing!
